Daily Devotional

"This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success."  (Joshua 1:8)

"Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the BACKSIDE of the desert, and came to the MOUNTAIN OF GOD, even to Horeb."

We love comfort and convenience. We love to be in charge and perfectly in control. We love to feel and enjoy our security. Anything that threatens all of that is really cause for worry. When resources deplete and needs increase we worry, and worry makes us lose heart, mental poise, and emotional balance.

"Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing."

"Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear."

Pilate brought forth the Lord Jesus Christ to the people, and said, "Behold the man!" It is time for you to take a good look at Jesus Christ the man. It is time for spiritual contemplation of our Master and Savior. When you look at Jesus Christ, what do you see?

"Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the GOD OF ALL COMFORT."

"And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive LEAF pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth."
