Focus: You Will Survive!

Text: Act.27:23

"For there stood by me this night the angel of God."

An angel of God showed up in Paul's life at a very critical time. His life was in danger. A mighty storm showed up on his way to Rome to face trial in the court of Caesar.

The travelers and the sailors did all in their power to save the situation, but it was obvious that the storm was disruptive and destructive in nature. It was terribly and horribly violent - it came to steal, kill and destroy.

For Paul's sake, God said no to the storm and sent His angel to ensure the safety of Paul and those who were on board with him. The angel came at night and stood by Paul, assuring him that his life would be saved including the other voyagers.

It was rough and tough, but at last, Paul survived the storm and arrived Rome safely. The ship was completely destroyed, but no life was lost. The voyagers lost their properties and foods, but not their lives.

Whatever it is that you are facing right now in your life, God has sent me to assure you that you will survive. You will make it to the other side. You will experience an angelic visitation. You will live to fulfill the purpose for which God brought you into this world. God will not let you die in the middle of that storm. God will disappoint your enemies; they'll not be able to rejoice over you. You will not die before your time. You have a divine assignment to fulfill, and so, no weapon formed against you shall ever prosper.

Be encouraged; be firm in your faith! Let your heart be stirred up and galvanized by the Spirit of the Lord! Be forward-looking and positive, and I say again and again that you shall survive!
