Focus: You can't be wrong praising God
Text: Ps.34:1
"I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth."
It is my prayer that in this month of September you will find yourself praising the Lord for his mercies and blessings.
Start praising God now. Make conscious and deliberate effort in thanking God for what he is doing and for what he is yet to do in your life and family. Form the habit of conscious, constant and continuous praise.
No time is wrong for you to praise God and you can never be wrong praising God.
When you feel like it or not, just keep praising God. God is deserving of unceasing praise from you. Praise is comely.
David was running here and there, looking for safe havens or hiding places from Saul, who wanted him dead by all means and at all cost, for his envy and jealousy. Saul couldn't stand the rising profile and the amazing future of David. This psalms seems to be looking back at the time when David feigned madness to save his life before the king of Gath, and was asked to leave the territory. And regardless of his feeling of disappointment, uncertainty, and not knowing where next to go, David vows to bless the Lord at all times.
I pray you do same throughout this month. Let your lips get busy praising the Lord. The Lord will surely keep and bless you. Amen.
