Focus: Top Secrets to Know
Nehemiah writes, "That I gave my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the ruler of the palace, CHARGE OVER Jerusalem: for he was a FAITHFUL man, and FEARED God ABOVE MANY" - Neh.7:2.
The top secrets of loyalty and godly fear. It promotes.
Pharaoh said to Joseph, "And if thou knowest any MEN of ACTIVITY among them, then make them RULERS over my cattle" - Gen.47:6.
The word 'activity' speaks of strength, resourcefulness, means, valor, prowess.
That's a top secret for promotion.
It's written about Solomon:
"And Solomon seeing the young man that he was INDUSTRIOUS, he made him RULER over all the charge of the house of Joseph" - 1Kgs.11:28.
That's another top secret for promotion: diligence, industry, productivity, or commitment to duty.
The word 'industrious' in Hebrew speaks of making or producing. In Genesis one, we see God making or producing things. He is the maker of things. God doesn't just sit idle and watch things happen on their own; he would rather take the initiative to making things happen. He works, and works things out.
By making us God wanted us to become co-makers or co-workers with him. And that's indeed a top secret to know.
God rewards integrity, character, godly fear, loyalty, industry and goal-oriented activity.
You are distinguished and promoted by these traits. You are put in charge of things and places.
You are not a fool for being godly or God-fearing. It surely pays to be a Christian, if not now, then later.
I encourage you to make faithfulness and the fear of God part of your profile and resume. Don't trade good name and character for anything. It smells good and makes for great honor. Blessings!
