Focus: The Unsaid
Text: Isa.45:19:
"I SAID NOT unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain."
There are things God has not said, and seeking God in vain is just one of them. At no time has God said, Serve me for nothing.
Not even in the secret or dark places has God said a thing like that. Never! You are Jacob's seed through faith in Christ Jesus, and surely, your service to God shall be amply rewarded both here and the hereafter.
Satan said to God concerning Job, "Why won't he serve you since you pay him so well?" - Jb.1:9-10, TLB. Yes, God pays so well, and I am a witness to that!
In 2 Kings 14:27, it is written, "The Lord SAID NOT that he would blot out the name of Israel from under heaven."
It is for this reason that the kingdom of Israel under Jeroboam was not destroyed. God didn't say so. Your name is already written in the Lamb's book of life and it will not be blotted out.
As there are things God has not said, so there are things that God has indeed said, one of which is, "Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?" - Jh.11:40.
That was Jesus talking to Martha. Because you believe you will behold the glory of God. Amen.
Child of God, you will not serve God in vain, and by your faith you will see his glory. Amen.
