Text: 2Tim.1:9

"And grace, which was GIVEN us in Christ Jesus before the world began."

The grace of God is your greatest asset. You have nothing that God's grace did not make available to you. The grace of God is the source of all the blessings of God. The grace of God is God's storehouse. The resources of grace are boundless. You are saved by grace, sustained and strengthened by grace. You run the race of faith with grace. You are blessed with surplus grace. You are graced in Christ.

God is the source of grace. Peter describes God as "the God of all grace" - the God of grace in all its variety, colors and flavors. John tells us that "grace and truth came by Jesus Christ."

There is no discrimination in grace. Paul tells us that "the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to ALL men." It is now up to each man to either accept or reject the grace of God.

Our text reveals that grace is of eternal origin. God had made His grace available to you ever before the ages began to unfold or evolve in its chronological order. Grace had already happened to you long before there was space and time. In eternity past God had made to you an offer of grace. Before you were born into the space-time history you had already obtained grace from God.

Peter reveals that the present day grace that you are encountering and enjoying was prophesied long before now by the prophets of the Old Testament. Peter says, "Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you" (1Pet.1:10). That grace has finally arrived. It is here now. You are currently swimming in the river of grace.

Prophetic grace is upon you now. You are basking in its glory and enjoying its riches. You are seeing the reality of past grace and experiencing the power and presence of prophetic grace.

Paul tells us of the grace that existed before the world began, and he also tells us about the grace to come, that is, future grace. He says, "That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus" (Eph.2:7). Grace for the ages past, prophetic grace for today, and grace for the ages to come. You are a beneficiary of a past, a present and a future grace. The river of grace flows and overflows from a dateless past to a timeless state of future existence.

How well are you enjoying the grace of God in your life? Your wealth of grace is mind-blowing. You are rich. You are blessed. Tap into the limitless resources of grace. Appreciate the grace of God. Draw from the bank of grace. On the soil of grace you stand. Grace adorns, avails and prevails.
