Focus: The Divine Light

Text: Act.12:7.

"A light shined in the prison..."

This is a prophetic word to you. Are you in a physical jailhouse right now? Are you caged in or in a tight corner? Do you seem to be losing your mind by a conspiracy of circumstances?

I can't tell exactly the kind of prison that you are in, but you are in a sort of prison. Someone is in the grips of a terrible fear. It could be that you are experiencing some strange things in your life right now and you are troubled and worried.

Here's the good news: your light has come. The light of heaven is breaking into your prison. The darkness of Satan is making way for the light of your God.

Prophet Isaiah proclaimed: "They that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined" - Isa.9:2.

In Acts 12 God's angel took Peter out of Herod's prison. The plan was to have him killed, but God said otherwise and sent his angel to rescue him.

I believe God has orchestrated your deliverance. You are marching out of that prison in the name of Jesus Christ. Christ has secured your freedom. You will sing a new song and tell a different story. The word of the Lord shall be fulfilled in your life.

My prayer for you: may the Lord revive your hope and rekindle faith in your spirit. Let the eyes of your heart be opened to see the glory of God. Let your angel appear and the divine light shine on you - in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
