Focus: Qualities of Christ's Disciple

Text: Mk.3:14

"And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach."

A disciple of Christ:

*Focuses on him - Heb.12:2.

*Follows in his steps - 1Pet.2:21.

*Obeys his commands - Jh.14:21.

*Glorifies him - Jh.17:1,10.

*Bears fruits - he's productive - Jh.15:2,16.

*Lives by his teachings - Mt.4:4.

*Raises other disciples - Mt.28:19-20.

*Serves him - Mt.6:24; Jh.12:26.

*Commits to his mission - Jh.17:18.

*Abides or remains in him -Jh.15:5.

I pray you follow him more closely and faithfully, know him more fully, and love him more dearly. Amen.
