Focus: No Alternative To Success! (Pt.8)

Text: Jh.19:30

"It is finished."

We have come to the last letter of success and the conclusion of this series. 

*Sound of success

A successful person possesses eyes to see and ears to hear. He hears sounds and catches sights of things to come. He sees success and hears the sound of it before he achieves it. He sees the invisible and actualizes the impossible. Elijah says to Ahab, "For there is a SOUND of ABUNDANCE of rain" (1Kgs.18:41). Sound is what you hear. 

A man destined to succeed hears sounds and feels the impact of the intangible. He hears the inaudible, sees the invisible, touches the intangible and achieves the incredible.

Luke writes of the event of Pentecost, and he says, "And suddenly there came a SOUND FROM HEAVEN as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting" (Act.2:2). The God of success inhabits heaven, and from there the man of success hears a sound of success. 

Paul declares, "Yes verily, their SOUND went into all the earth, and their WORDS unto the ends of the world" (Rom.10:18). The sound of success is heard all over the world. There is no place on earth where success cannot be achieved so long as there's someone who is sensitive to the sounds of success. Someone needs to hear the drumbeat of success to dance to it. The person who desires to succeed must put his ears on the ground and be attentive to vital information. Isaiah says, "And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it…" (Isa.30:21). 

We must listen to the voice of the indwelling Spirit of God. We must be guided by divine revelation. Information is power.

Whoever wants to succeed must read, listen and look for knowledge. Hear the word, the sound, and the voice.

There's no alternative to success. You either succeed or fail. Our God always succeeds in all He does. He never fails. He commences, continues, and also completes. He finished with creation and rested, and He also completed the transaction of human redemption and rested. There's no abandoned or unfinished project with God. Christ said, "It is finished." God will help you to start and finish, and to fulfill your role on earth.

Don't settle for less! You were created by God to succeed in any given pursuit or endeavor. Succeed before you leave this earth! Make God proud! Success has no substitute.
