Text: Jh.19:30

"It is finished."

Jesus Christ started and finished His earthly mission on earth, and that is success. Paul and a host of others commenced and completed their earthly assignments. I believe nothing should stop you from succeeding in your divine vocation.

We have considered God as the Source of success and Uncommon passion as essential requirement for achieving success. Now we proceed with the third letter - C, which stands for Concrete planning.

Good life is planned for. Concrete planning is essential to great success. I emphasize the word 'concrete.' It is concrete planning that creates the effect of success, not abstract planning.

It is a popular saying that failing to plan is planning to fail. A lot of people simply lead plan-less lives. A life of no dreams, no challenges, and no concrete plans to achieve anything significant. No one fulfills a dream inside a dream. A dreamer must first wake up from his dream, and then plan on how to make his dream come true.

Success requires planning, for no one succeeds by accident. I have learned long ago that planning involves "bringing the future into the present and doing something about it now." You cannot by jumping find yourself at the top of the mountain; you can only get there by climbing it.

The Lord Jesus Christ makes known to us His action plan where He says, "Today and tomorrow I'm busy clearing out the demons and healing the sick; the third day I'm wrapping things up…" (Lk.13:32-33, The Message). That's the three-year action plan of Christ.

Clarity of vision results in accuracy of obedience.

Paul says, "I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision" (Act.26:19). Paul followed the vision Christ gave him to its logical conclusion, because it was clear, critical and vital.

Planning involves goal-setting and a go-getting approach or strategy. It is knowing what you want and taking practical steps to actualize it. What do you want and how do you go about achieving it? What is your action plan?

People who succeed make plans for themselves. It's about time you planned your way to success! Come up with measurable and time-bound plans! Make your plans and make them work! Plan to succeed! Program your success and schedule your prosperity!
