Focus: Misplaced 'IF'

Text: Mk.9:23

"IF you can believe, all things are possible to him that believes."

A father, in desperate need of a miracle, approached Jesus, and says, "IF you can do anything, have compassion on us, and help us."

Then Jesus replies him, "IF you can believe..." 'IF'...'IF.'

In essence, Jesus is saying to him, 'Remove the IF from me. It's not about IF I can do anything; it is rather about IF you can believe ME to do something. Take the IF off ME, and deal with it in your own life.'

Beloved of God, make sure no IF is blocking the flow of divine power in your life.

Come to God, believing, not doubting. Tell me, what is it that God cannot do? Paul says, "He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?" (Rom.8:32).

I ask you, can you believe God now? Do you trust that Christ is capable of the incredible? Let me assure you, that God is absolutely and infinitely limitless in power. He can handle your case and get you out of your mess.

If you can believe, all things are possible. Take the limits off God. Amen.
