Focus: Laughing Last!
Text: Jh.11:4
"This sickness is not unto death."
Jesus Christ says to His disciples that the sickness of Lazarus was not going to end in death but in GLORY to God. He says to Martha, "Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest BELIEVE, thou shouldest see the GLORY of God?" (Jh.11:40). The story of your life will end in glory.
We behold the glory of God by believing God in the face of the impossible. Jesus Christ says to His disciples concerning the man born blind, "Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the WORKS of God should be made manifest in him" (Jh.9:3). God is not the cause of blindness, but He can use it to manifest His glory.
If God is involved in your life, then He will always find ways of turning the ashes of ugliness into a tapestry of beauty.
He knows how to turn mourning into dancing. He makes His works manifest, using the circumstances of your life.
I say to you today, that sickness in your body shall not terminate your life. That trouble in your life shall not linger forever. Your God will surely deliver you from it. You will celebrate the goodness of God. You will see the Lord working out His purpose in your life. You will see the glory of your God. Your suffering is coming to an end.
Get set to rejoice and celebrate! You are coming through. This is the last lap of your pain. You will shout for joy. You will bless the Lord. You will sing for joy. You will leap and dance for joy. Indeed you will laugh last, not Satan.
