Text: Prov.11:25

"He that watereth shall be watered also himself."

This world runs on moral laws - the law of cause and effect, the law of gravity, the law of sowing and reaping, etc. God built His laws into nature. What you do and how you live matters.

If you don't pay for bad behavior now, you will certainly pay for it later. If you don't get rewarded for doing good, you'll surely get rewarded eventually. No one can cheat nature or mock God. It's only a matter of time. If your reward doesn't come in your lifetime, it'll surely come in your children's lifetime. The good you do will live with you and after you.

It is verifiable in the Scripture and in our personal lives that God pays well for the good we do. Serve God well, and you'll have nothing to worry about. He is faithful.

People may count your generosity for stupidity; don't worry about it. Whatever you do in this life, be assured that God is watching and taking records. Seeds once sown come back as harvests. Reaping follows sowing. Your good works are not in vain. Paul tells us, "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap" (Gal.6:7). Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. It is a fact of life that whatever you sow is coming back to you, sooner or later.

God always does what is right. He is not in anyways unjust. He's faithful to the core.

Proverbs declares, "The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself." You can count on God's word; it never fails. We read in Ecclesiastes, "Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after MANY days" (Ecles.11:1). It may take time, but it will surely come back. As far as God is concerned, He keeps promises. What He says is final.

Paul admonishes us, "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not" (Gal.6:9). Faint not. Water, and you shall be watered. It's a divine fact. I can testify to that, and I know you do, too.

Be among the good people who do good things. Be a blessing to someone and get involved in kingdom investment. Let God use you to take tears of sorrow from someone's eyes. Do it and keep doing it. Don't be discouraged. Don't stop. Your blessings abound and your reward is great in heaven. Whatever reward you fail to get in this life, you'll get it by the time you finally stand before God in eternity. It's a divine fact.
