Text: Act.27 and 28
Paul decides to go to Rome from Jerusalem. He says, "I must also see ROME..." - Act.19:21
The Lord affirms Paul's decision. "And the night following the Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer, Paul: for as thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at ROME" - Act.23:11.
Amid the heavy storm Paul still advanced in the journey, for he says, "...so we went TOWARD ROME" - Act.28:14.
Finally Paul arrives his destination. "And when we came to ROME" - Act.28:16.
It was not an easy journey. They faced the danger of losing their lives. They even lost appetite for food for two weeks, and at the point of losing their lives they jettisoned the cargo, and due to the fierceness of the storm they suffered the loss of everything including the ship.
But the good news is that no life was lost, not a single soul, and miraculously, they finally got to Rome - their final destination. 276 souls started the voyage, and they all made it to shore and to Rome at last.
In this our journey from earth to heaven we will surely arrive. We will survive everything that this life or the enemy throws at us. We will sail through. No sinking for us, and regardless of the odds, we will be HOME AT LAST with Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
