Focus: He's Coming For Your Rescue!
Text: Isa.35:4
"Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your GOD WILL COME with vengeance, even God with a recompence; HE WILL COME AND SAVE YOU."
Isaiah declares in the name of the Lord, "He will come and save you." Whatever it is that you are going through, be rest assured that your God is coming for your rescue. He will set you free from every form of bondage. That trouble in your life will not last forever. That pain in your body has expiration date.
Do you feel locked up in one spot for a long while now? Are you in a tight corner or perhaps you have just reached a dead end? Is your family in trouble or your health is severely challenged? Are your bills piling up and your needs growing larger? Is your faith facing the biggest trial of your life? Is your life being threatened or your means becoming meager? What mess are you in right now? Are you stressed and stretched beyond measure? Are you suffering from a lingering headache and heartache or from a chronic situation?
I have good news for you; a prophetic word from God that is capable of changing your life in every way possible. God has sent me to say to you that He is coming for your rescue. God has destined you for salvation, not for destruction. You will soon move from sighing to singing and from sobbing to smiling. You will rise above shame and sadness. God is coming for your rescue!
It is written in the Song of Solomon: "The voice of my beloved! behold, he cometh leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills" (Song of Sol.2:8). Jesus Christ is your beloved. He is your lover. He is eternally in love with you. His love for you is wonderful. His love is too high, too deep, too broad, and too long. His love reaches back to your past, touches your present, and extends to your future.
Your beloved is taking every risk to come to you. He is leaving nothing to chance. He is making every effort to come to you. He is beating the traffic and conquering the odds. He is leaping upon the mountains and skipping the hills. He is overcoming every obstacle and surmounting every hurdle just to get to you and get you out of your mess and misery.
He came through for Peter in the prison and got him out. He came through for Daniel in the lions' den and rescued him. He came through for many others and bailed them out. Even till date He's been coming through for His people and changing their stories, and I am absolutely convinced that He is coming for you. Get set to testify! Get poised for praise! He's coming!
From the top of the mountain Jesus Christ sighted His disciples in the middle of a strong storm. They were in stormy distress and found themselves on the verge of losing their lives. Mark reports, "And he saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary unto them: and about the fourth watch of the night HE COMETH UNTO THEM, WALKING UPON THE SEA…" (Mk.6:48). He saw them in danger of losing their lives and came for their rescue. Jesus Christ saw no means of transporting Himself to them. No ships; no boats. Yet He stepped onto the waters and walked towards them. He literally walked on the water and succeeded in saving them. He delivered them from destruction. He calmed both their hearts and the waves. He rescued them, and they rejoiced in Him.
You will not wait for your God in vain. Like Job, you will wait until your change comes. He will not come late. No force of darkness can stop Him from reaching you on time. Your God is an early riser, and He's never a latecomer. He's coming for your rescue. Keep your hope alive! He's coming, I assure you!
