Focus: Faith

Text: Mk.11:22

"Have faith in God."

Consider this acronym of F.A.I.T.H:

*Foundation - Heb.11:6

Faith is absolutely essential in our relationship with God. It's indeed foundational, so fundamentally crucial.

*Adventure - Heb.11:5,8.

Faith takes us on a journey with God. Think of Enoch and Abraham. What an exciting adventure of daily believing God!

*Is-ness or immanence

Faith is a NOW thing because God is a NOW God. Faith brings us into the Divine Presence. By faith God enters our space. By faith we become aware of a God who is eternally existent and intensely personal.

*Truth

Faith exposes us to the revelational truth and reality of God. We are granted the knowledge of the holy - Prov.30:3. By faith we know.

*Home of hope - Jh.14:2-3.

Faith leads us to our heavenly home. We shall be home at last. Let's say with the psalmist, "I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever."

Child of God, have faith in Jesus Christ. Faith saves and keeps us saved. Believe and keep believing. Amen.
