Text: Lk.10:19.

"Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you" - Lk.10:19.

Jesus gives the believer power over all the power of the enemy. That's power against power. In Greek it is (exousia) authority over all the (dunamis) ability of the enemy. In Christ you have authority over Satan's ability. It's about time you exercised that authority. Kick Satan out of your life and space now.

The amazing thing is that Jesus delegated this legal right not just to the 12 apostles, but also to 70 'unknown and ordinary' disciples.

In verse 17 they came back with a report that the power worked for them when put to use.

Here's the report: "And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name" - Lk.10:17. Hallelujah!

You possess God's power in you; use it. Put Satan out of business around you - in Jesus' name. In verse 9, Jesus tells them to heal with it. Jesus, the Greater One lives in you. You have power to rebuke, resist and cast out the devil. Amen.
