Focus: Divine Honour

Text: Ex.14:17,18.

God says to Moses:

"I will get me HONOUR UPON Pharaoh, and UPON all his host, UPON his chariots, and UPON his horsemen."

"And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have gotten me HONOUR UPON Pharaoh, UPON his chariots, and UPON his horsemen."

The word 'honor' is the same as 'glory,' and the word 'upon' is same as 'over.'

God promises to superimpose his glory in your circumstances. He will exalt himself over the Pharaohs in your life. His honor is at stake. Our God will deliver you from the hand of today's Pharaoh just like he delivered Israel from Pharaoh's power in the past.

That problem in your life will turn to another Red Sea, and in it the 'army of Pharaoh' in your life will drown. Our God is determined to uphold his honor.

Child of God, bless the Lord and glorify his name. He is at work in your life. He will put Satan to shame in your life.

Rejoice for God is releasing you from the grip of the enemy and positioning you for glory. You will experience a fresh increase of divine favor upon your life. Amen.
