Text: 1Tim.6:17

"Who giveth us richly all things to enjoy."

God wants you to enjoy life, not to endure it. All that God gives is meant for you to enjoy. God sufficiently, substantially and ceaselessly supplies all good things for your enjoyment. God begins to furnish us with stuff, and He never stops. He gives and keeps giving - ceaseless supplies.

What God doesn't want is for you to turn His good gifts into idols. You need to understand that the good things of this life cannot be relied upon; God alone deserves and demands your trust. God gives you stuff to enjoy, not to idolize. You must never commit the sin of placing your blessings on a par with the giver of the blessings. Never elevate the uncertain riches of this world to the level or position of a deity. Nothing else in this world is God, but God Himself. The gods of silver and gold are not God; they are only blessings from God.

God is the giver of all good things. God gave us the gift of His only Son and of the Holy Spirit.

He gives us the gift of life. He gives us good and perfect gifts. He gives us superabundant grace. He gives us joy, peace and hope. He gives us wisdom and understanding. He gives us the power to make wealth. He gives us good health.

God gives stuff to us liberally, richly, wisely, extravagantly, unreservedly, unsparingly, and joyfully.

The only thing you must not do is trust in the things God gives you to enjoy. Your trust should be only in God - the giver of the blessings. Enjoy God and His blessings. He takes pleasure in your prosperity. Derive maximum pleasure from God's many blessings. Love and trust God while you enjoy the stuff of life.
