Focus: All Round Faith

"Since we HEARD of your faith in Christ Jesus..." - Col.1:4 (Also Eph.1:15).

"That your faith is SPOKEN of throughout the whole world" - Rom.1:8.

The audibility of faith. Faith makes news. It spreads far and wide. It has capacity for fame. It can't be hidden.

"When Jesus SAW their faith..." - Mk.2:5.

The visibility of faith. Faith can't be said to be authentic if it is not audible and visible.

"Daughter, thy faith hath MADE thee whole..." - Mk.5:34.

This is the making power of faith in God. Faith delivers, heals and transforms lives.

"For by faith ye STAND..." - 2Cor.1:24 (Also Rom.11:20).

Genuine faith is able to stand. Faith has feet. It stands on God's sure word.

"We also BELIEVE, and therefore SPEAK" - 2Cor.4:13.

The voice of faith. Real faith is vocal, not silent. Faith speaks the language of God.

"(For we WALK by faith, not by sight:)" - 2Cor.5:7.

The mobility of faith. True faith is mobile. It has legs for long walks. It walks with God and walks on the promises of God.

Let me add that in Act.14:27 we read of the opening of the door of faith, in Rom.3:27, of the law of faith, in Rom.1:17, of the life of faith, and in 2Thes.1:3, of an exceedingly growing faith, in Rom.10:8, of the word of faith, in Eph.6:15, of the shield of faith, in Rom.4:12, of walking in the steps of the faith of Abraham, in 1Thes.1:3, of the work of faith, and in 2Thes.1:11, of the work of faith with power.

Authentic faith works. It is not idle or lazy. True faith is industrious and diligent.
