Focus: Abraham's Faith
Rom.4:18-21.
1. Hopeful faith
Against hope he believed in hope. Yes, amid the great odds he had hope.
2. Firm faith
He was not feeble in faith.
3. Intelligent faith
He did not consider and conclude that his physical limitations were bigger than God could handle. In other words, Abraham didn't belittle God for the bigness or size of his problem. No paralysis of analysis.
4. Unwavering faith
He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief.
5. Praising faith
He strongly believed God and praised God right in the middle of his circumstances.
6. Audacious faith
He was fully persuaded that God had sufficient power to bring his word to pass. By faith he acknowledges God as the performer of promises.
I say to you today: have faith in God and walk in the steps of the faith of Abraham. Amen.
